Löwenstein-Prisma sd card increase days - k.mooijman - 04-17-2024
Hi
Currently, my Löwenstein-Prisma records about 21 days on the SD card.
New days are recorded and older are deleted.
Does anybody know how to increase this?
There is no issue with the capacity of the SD.
The card is 4 GB and has some 99% of free space.
Any help would be much appreciated!

I'm curious about this as well. I believe I saw that there was a setting for detailed data retention, 7, 14, or 21 days but wasn't sure if that meant in-device or on the SD card. Not sure if there is a way to have it store more since there is plenty of room on the SD card. Or if it keeps summary data for much longer but only short duration detailed information
I just received my Prisma 20A and will get it set up this weekend. Will post back if I find anything.
Doing a quick search from some medical supply companies in Australia, several say this about the 20A:
High resolution therapy data for 14 days and detailed statistics for 365 days
The listings for the Prisma Max doesn't mention how long data is stored.
If you create a new profile in OSCAR, and pull in the data, are you seeing more than 21 days?

This I do'n know for sure, but I once forgot to upload my data from the SD for a month and only got the last 21 days.

The problem is that OSCAR reads the therapy-sw.log file. It seems to be that that is overwritten. The older data's still on the card, but it's stored in the .pdat file, which is only accessible by Löwenstein's PrimaTS software.

My Prisma 25S has a limit in the machine settings of 14 days detailed data. In reality, when I import the SD card to a new (test) account in OSCAR it gives me somewhere between 14-18 days of detailed data, but never more than that.
I have dug around in the SD card, including showing hidden files, but have not figured out a way to access (or even find) any data going back further than that.
My solution for now is to back up my SD card data once every 10 days to make sure I have a full set of the data in the future.
