Move from CPAP to Bipap - danylam - 05-02-2024 I had been on cpap for nearly 1 year. Moved to bipap to get rid of flow limitation and CAs. My FL and CAs got under control now, using PS and Trigger very high. I feel better, but looking for advice if I can improve even more. My clinical test showed 38 OAs and no CAs ou RERAs. Thanks for any help. RE: Move from CPAP to Bipap - OpalRose - 05-02-2024 Replace the Respiratory graph with the pressure graph. For starters, you only need to show the following graphs: Events, Flow Rate, Pressure, Leak Rate, and Flow Limitation. Include the entire left side bar minus the calendar. You only need one chart per calendar day. This way you can post three different days to one post. You mostly have OA's, which may require a slightly higher Epap. You should probably raise the max IPAP too. RE: Move from CPAP to Bipap - danylam - 05-02-2024 Great. I have done changes to screenshot with the pressure. Any recommendations? RE: Move from CPAP to Bipap - SarcasticDave94 - 05-02-2024 Let's see what others say, it doesn't look too bad. Myself, I'd probably increase IPAP Max to 12 to see if it helps. It appears you're in need of slightly higher IPAP as it goes to 10.4 and sits there. No variation in EPAP to IPAP. Most important, how do you feel? RE: Move from CPAP to Bipap - OpalRose - 05-02-2024 I think Dave and I are on the same page. You could open up the maximum Insp. setting to 13cm. Give the machine room to work. RE: Move from CPAP to Bipap - danylam - 05-02-2024 Ok. Will try tonight and post results tomorrow. Thanks for the advice. RE: Move from CPAP to Bipap - danylam - 05-03-2024 Guys, These are two screenshots of my last night. I feel great. I posted one screenshot of a OA and wonder if it looks a OA? Thanks RE: Move from CPAP to Bipap - danylam - 05-06-2024 Any help with my update above? Thanks RE: Move from CPAP to Bipap - SarcasticDave94 - 05-06-2024 I'm seeing an improved AHI and the flow rate looks less busy, but that less busy could just be particular to this chart and not based on setting edit. I think overall it's better. Did it improve how you feel regarding the therapy? |
