Off to a good start - ATXSleepdeprived - 05-12-2024 Well, I just completed Day 3 and managed to have a really low AHI score (Diagnosed with 73 events per hour) and have managed to stay connected for the full night all three nights. Hoping to knock out compliance as soon as possible. Despite having a deviated septum and general nose congestion the nasal mask (F&P Eson2) has largely been fine other than condensation at the morning time. Granted I like the house cold and keep it around 65-67. However, it hasn't been horrible and I am not running out of water in the humidifier so those have been wins for me. My first two nights I only have summary data as there. was an issue with the SD card, and Had I not checked yesterday than I would not have know it was not recording. Last night was the first night for a complete set of data that makes OSCAR more worthwhile. Have a trip coming up and am wrestling with the idea of traveling with this unit...that said...I would really like to complete compliance sooner than later. RE: Off to a good start - Deborah K. - 05-12-2024 Without seeing anything else I can see that your low-pressure setting is too low at 4. That's how the machines come from the factory, but 4 is too low for most adults. I suggest you raise it to 7. That will provide better therapy and comfort. To see anything else we need you to post an Oscar screenshot. Then we can offer you more help. My husband and I always take our machines when we travel. If you are flying you can take it onboard and it will not be considered an extra carry-on bag because it's a medical device. |
