My husband's new Resmed F20 mask won't separate from the headgear - UncollapseMeThroat - 05-13-2024 My husband received his new F20 mask and headgear (one package). He has been using an F20 mask and headgear for a few years, but in this case, the mask isn't detaching from the headgear, but appears to be one unit. Is this a (new) thing? RE: My husband's new Resmed F20 mask won't separate from the headgear - Phaleronic - 05-13-2024 That's strange, I received a full airfit f20 kit from lofta last week and it came apart just fine (the cushion from the frame)-can you take a picture please? RE: My husband's new Resmed F20 mask won't separate from the headgear - chronic - 05-13-2024 I had a loaner a while back and I went to change from medium to large and I thought it was going to break but it finally popped off. RE: My husband's new Resmed F20 mask won't separate from the headgear - staceyburke - 05-13-2024 I think I remember someone telling us about this and said in stead of pulling or prying his came off with a twist. RE: My husband's new Resmed F20 mask won't separate from the headgear - UncollapseMeThroat - 05-13-2024 I replied with a quote and pic, as requested, but it seems that I didn't do it right, lol. I'll try again. OK, I did it right this time, but I see that the file is too large. I'll ask my husband if he "did the twist", lol. Thanks for the replies! RE: My husband's new Resmed F20 mask won't separate from the headgear - UncollapseMeThroat - 05-14-2024 Update: My husband finally removed the mask from the headgear! He removed the frame (with mask still attached) from the headgear and he put the frame/mask under hot water, then he pushed the mask through the hole/port in the frame where the elbow attaches to the mask. It's still a bit tight to remove, but at least it works and it didn't break with all of the effort, lol.
