Changing to a new machine - JoyD. - 05-23-2024

I'll soon be using a ResMed Aircurve 10 Vauto in place of my ResMed AirSense 10 APAP. Can I merely put my current SD card that I have been using in my APAP into my new Vauto & use OSCAR same as before? Or - do I need to do something else or in addition to transferring the SD card?

Thanks in advance . . .
Joy

You do not need to do anything except reply to any SD card related prompts you see on the new machine.

Data files are distinguished by machine serial numbers.

If you want to keep the contents of your older SD card, you may wish to save it to a folder on your PC or a USB device. Then, format the card to start a new record on the new device. If you keep the same card, a new record will be created using the new machine's serial number.

If your new device has an issue with the older card, you might find that upon inserting the card, a message saying "Invalid SD card, erase card data?" is displayed. If you press “Yes" to the message, all data on the SD card will be erased

Can the SD Card be used in multiple machines?

No, the SD Card can only be used in one machine. Once used in another device, The SD Card gets reformatted and all previous data will be erased.
