Why is it advised to put minimum pressure at 95 percentile? - alwyns42 - 05-27-2024 Hi everyone, I keep on noticing that the advice is to put the minimum pressure at 95% from a previous test. Why 95%? When I look at some of my nights, it looks like some of my most peaceful sleep is around my median pressure. So shouldn't the ideal minimum lay somewhere in that top 50%? Szabo - 05-27-2024 When you set your minimum to the median pressure, there will be quite some time (50% or so) when the instrument operates above it. It means frequent pressure adjustments. Before each of these adjustments, you have some flow limitation that disturbs your sleep. Usually, better sleep can be achieved at a higher pressure than the median.
