My husband just started on CPAP with a Resmed 10. He tried the DreamWear Under the Nose mask and had considerable leakage. He is now using the DreamWisp Nasal Mask. If you look at the OSCAR data, at around 4:20 pm, he woke up and could feel air on the side of his nose. He kept trying to pull the mask off and on. To him it seemed like the pressure kept increasing. He'ls a light sleeper, so this is making him feel worse. Do you see anything on the data that would help us?
Note: I started with the same unit and mask in February. It's worked great and I can sleep through the night. I didn't have the same issue, so hoping someone can help us. If you need to see other graphs, I can reprint.

Hi hooverdlh,
Either his nasal pillow is too large or too small. Experiment and try a different size pillow to achieve a better seal.
Also, from the leak rate graph, there is some evidence of mouth breathing. Do you know if he tends to mouth breathe?
Look at the leak graph, the spikes point to mask movement, where the flat tops point to mouth breathing.
When either of the above occur, the machine tends to try and increase airflow to compensate for the leaks. So your husband is correct in noticing the increase in pressure.
Also, higher Flow Limitation will cause pressure swings. All this is very disruptive to sleep. So the culprit is the mask pillow size/and mouth breathing.

There is probably room for pressure adjustments, but will wait to see your screenshot.
