ResMed 10 and reporting - Panama the Red - 07-06-2024

Been on CPAP for years, just recently started BiPAP with a new sparkly ResMed 10.

Got used to OSCAR's fine graphing and being able to see where I have leaks (my bane).  Now with this new machine, I'm not getting those details I was looking for.

Is there any reporting software like OSCAR that plays well with the RM 10?

Thanks ....

Yep. It's called OSCAR. Same one you're used to.

Up to you, but you may want to backup old machine data then either erase and format the SD card or use a new card.

Not all Resmed models report the same parameters. The AirCurve does not report RERAs, like the AirSense, If you will provide the actual Resmed AirCurve model you have, it would really help.

Sorry, brain mush from researching .....

ResMed AirCurve 10 ST-A

I tried searching to find answer but  nothing popped out.

Went to update my profile and ran across a list of programs.

Downloaded SleepyHead but ran into the PC wall (Mac here) then tried updating emulation software and sigh $$$.

Thanks, sorry for lack of intelligence ....

OK as best as I know ST-A is compatible. I wish I knew because the ST-A is what I need to be on with my COPD/Asthma.

Which lung disease are you dealing with?

Central apnea, obstructive, combined apneas.   The biPap is interesting, getting used to it.

Now if I could find a mask to fit my face/nose .....

I even shaved my beard off so I could lose the leaks ....

SleepyHead was abandoned in 2019.  OSCAR is its continuation.  You can only download it here.  OSCAR has versions for Windows, Mac, Linux, Chromebook, and Raspberry Pi.   Beside the link in the name, here, you can find it in the black ribbon at the top of every page.

OOPS! I fat-headedly thought this was a new thread.

The Mac does run Oscar. You have to follow the directions exactly. You have to give the app permission to load since it doesn't come from the app store.

Hmm, you may find the ST-A acceptable, but it's a bit overboard for treatment of Central Apnea. That's normally going the another bilevel called ASV.

Care to post the settings you've tried? Although if you get to post OSCAR some will be listed there.

Oh and I'm not certain this applies here with your Mac, but some of my DAW software plugins load files on my Mac Mini M2 need to be right clicked and then click Open as otherwise there's the trust thing.
