mask fitting - moondoggy200 - 07-07-2024

Thanks I have been on cpap for two months. I use a ff mask its a F 30 and a F 30 i they are both MED. size. The problem is the nose peace of the cushion is to tight at the wide part of the noise. and they pinch my nostrils half why closed so I feel like I cant get enough air. the large size helps but it leaks to much. does any company make a FF craddle that is ( wide ). thanks Rich outtt

The Fisher and Paykel Evora nose area is a bit wider and more firm than the Resmed F30 series. I do not know about the F40, hopefully someone who has used all three will comment.

Resmed F40 has the option of a small-wide pillow. It accommodates wide nostrils. It seems to me that the "small" being referred to is a shorter distance between nostrils and underneath lower lip versus the medium. As far as I could tell, they are the same overall width as the mediums.

I had a good look at the small-wide because my DME sent me three by mistake.
