Erratic Reporting - Nehpets - 07-08-2024

I've been using OSCAR for about a successfully, and load my data about once a week.  Oscar ver. 1.5.3 on Windows 10, and Resmed AirSense 11 Autoset.

On June 26, data was reported but the graph area was blank with the message "No Data To Graph",  The footer indicates "Graphs were switched off" though I never changed that setting.

Subsequently, with no changes by me,, from June 27 to July 1 data was reported in OSCAR, all graphs displayed except the AHI graph and Event Flags graphs showed no tracings and the AHI number was reported as 0.00 even though the Resmed machine and Resmed MyAir were reporting all data including AHI data.

On July 2, all OSCAR reporting returned to normal, all data and graphs displaying correctly with no input from me, except to load my SD card.

What might be causing this behavior and what do you suggest I do to correct it?

Thanks!

Stephen

RE: Erratic Reporting - Crimson Nape - 07-08-2024

I would look at 3 possibilities.
  1. The card was not fully inserted into the machine.
  2. The SD card is starting to go bad.  This is not unusual.
  3. The AS11 is having intermittent SD initialization problems.
(It has been reported here several times.  It was resolved by powering down the AS11, inserting the SD card, and powering it back up.)

Thanks for your insights, Red!  I would tend to favor the intermittent SD initialization problem as being the culprit, as I always look for the SD card loading confirmation on the AS11 screen, and have found myself having to reboot the machine occasionally to complete the reload.
