Regarding my oxygen saturation while sleep - RaghavGakhar - 07-12-2024 Hi, I have been using resmed airstart 10 since two years now with nasal mask n 20. Recently, I noticed leak of 18-25litres/min so I brought a new nasal mask. My humidifier is two year old. I set my humidifier at 3. I used to have very dry mouth and Still the leak remains, it is now at 16-17. I installed a camera and it recorded that my mouth opens while I'm sleeping and there is drooling also from my mouth. My oxygen levels on samsung watch says my oxygen dropped to 89% for 31 seconds. Rest, the oxygen In graph looks like 94-99%. The first year on CPAP was really much better but the time now doesn't feel the same way. I do wake up feeling a little fresh but not extremely good which was the case earlier. Please tell me what should I do, I want my oxygen saturation to be in the safe zone. My resting heart rate sometimes is at 100+ zone. And it troubles me. RE: Regarding my oxygen saturation while sleep - Narcil - 07-13-2024 Post some oscar charts if you want help with your therapy maybe something could be optimized. Please see the wiki to on how to format charts. Some quick googling seems to show the oxygenation levels on samsung watches isn't very accurate, ppl see large differences between the watch and medical equipment so i wouldn't be too worried about it. RE: Regarding my oxygen saturation while sleep - RaghavGakhar - 07-13-2024 Thanks for the reply. I have airstart which shows no data on oscar. I tried to tape my mouth because that is the probable cause for dry mouth but it is not very comfortable. RE: Regarding my oxygen saturation while sleep - SarcasticDave94 - 07-13-2024 It appears the AirStart is one of the most basic ResMed CPAP devices. It seems to cap pressure at 10 cm H20. You might need to consider buying ResMed AirSense 10 AutoSet if possible. The one you have now might not be powerful enough. To be determined though. RE: Regarding my oxygen saturation while sleep - Crimson Nape - 07-13-2024 The AirStart was a product disaster. It had the shortest production run of any CPAP. I think it was made for a year or less and ended production in the summer of 2017. - Red RE: Regarding my oxygen saturation while sleep - RaghavGakhar - 07-13-2024 I think they have sold many in India and I was not aware about this, they just said that it will show data on the small screen and work similarly like airsense and it was around 150 dollar cheaper so I went for airstart and been using it since 2 years. RE: Regarding my oxygen saturation while sleep - RaghavGakhar - 07-13-2024 Hi, The pressure of airstart 10 is till 20, and I set it from 4.8 to 12 or 13. RE: Regarding my oxygen saturation while sleep - SarcasticDave94 - 07-13-2024 OK that's different than my search indicated it was able to get to. |
