Sync O2Ring and ResMed11? - cprstn54 - 08-28-2024

Before going to sleep, I BT connect and disconnect my smartphone to my ResMed11 and O2Ring, assuming that sets them to the same time. Is that correct?

I import the O2Ring oximetry data into OSCAR using the Data|Wellue tab and it appears in reports. The O2Ring data is imported daily; the CPAP data I import weekly.

Is there more I should do to sync the data? There does not seem to be any information that is an integration of CPAP and O2 data, which I was hoping I would get in OSCAR.

Huh? This Wiki does not address your question? Link: https://www.apneaboard.com/wiki/index.php/Wellue_Viatom_File_Import#Syncing_your_Oximeter_times_with_OSCAR

It does not address my question at all.

My question is whether OSCAR will do more that just display my O2Ring data below the CPAP data?

Alternatively stated, does importing the O2Ring data cause any refinement/change in my AHI?

OK, I didn't understand your post. No, SpO2 data has no effect on AHI. AHI is breathing events only. Oximetry data provides additional information for your sleep analysis.

The reason I ask is that the oximetry data -- both in O2InsightPro and in OSCAR -- shows very few SpO2 drops, usually below 5/hr.

OSCAR, however, shows AHI in the 8-25 range, with an average of around 15.
