Cleaning advice needed for Resmed p30i - AshSF - 08-28-2024

Hi: I have been using a Resmed p10 for the last 10 years with a dreamstation on constant pressure of 8cm. Things are going well. My AHI is below 1 on most days. And the mask never shows a large leak. So I am happy with the setup.

I am a side sleeper and, of late, I am noticing that the strap marks on my face are not going away until 1pm. So I am considering switching to the resmed p30i. My internet research tells me that this mask doesn't leave the same kind of prints as the p10 (probably due to the soft pipe on the sides instead of hard plastic).

The great thing with the p10 was that I could unclick my mask pillow and wash it with soap every day. And wash the frame and the tube once every 7-10 days.

With the p30i, can I do the same:
1) Unhook the pillows every day and clean them with soap and water.
2) Clean the frame once every week or so.

Will the daily unhooking be durable enough that the pillows and the frames last for a year or more. With the p10, they just last forever. I typically change my p10 mask out of boredom. They still function after 1+ year. I am not too sure with the tube and the hookin arrangement of the pillow with the frame.

Any thoughts?

I used to use that mask.  I just popped off the mask and cleaned it with a fragrance-free baby wipe.  Once in a blue moon I would submerge it in warm water with fragrance-free dish soap and washed it with my hands.  I never worried about the other tubing.  It never got dirty or wet, so I ignored it.

I use either an AirFit F20, F30, or F40. I got over the "washing every day or every other day" long ago. Now, the cushion(s) get washed about once a week or so.

Sometimes I'll use a Clorox anti-bacterial wipe on them, as well as the frame. It might just be me, but I kind of like the industrial aroma the wipes leave behind.  Cool
