Unable to reduce my AHI - shinky - 08-28-2024

Hello,

I've been using my ResMed AirSense 11 with an AirFit N30 mask for about 10 months now and I can't seem to dial in the settings. Sometimes I would get around 3 AHI but usually no better. Any advice?

Thanks in advance!

Your pressure settings are off.  Your starting pressure of 4 is mostly for small children.  I suggest that you raise it to 8, and raise your upper limit to 12.  I think things will be better for you.  Smile

Welcome to the forum Shinky, you're have CAs along with the other events, you can leave it on 4cm min for now but turn EPR off please, EPR really needs much higher pressure.

No, don't leave the starting pressure at 4. Raise it and the upper limit as I suggested.

just looking at your actual chart, you snore and have OAs at times that correlate to flow limitations. Those occurances are predominantly at pressures of 7.0 and below. So, you really have good evidence that the minimum pressure would make sense somewhere above 7.0. Certainly you willl benefit by increasing that minimum, and 8.0 as Deborah K. suggests is not outrageous and a good start.

Good luck,
