Is it normal for Resmed 10 blowing noise to be very noticable at high pressure >13 - snortle - 08-29-2024 When I put my Resmed 10 at a higher pressure, let's say above 13, the machine's blowing noise becomes quite noticable, and hard to fall asleep to. Is this normal? RE: Is it normal for Resmed 10 blowing noise to be very noticable at high pressure >13 - OpalRose - 08-29-2024 I guess it's just a perception thing. What might be noisy to one person may not bother another. Although, it's normal to hear the sound of your own breathing. Both my ResMed machines are whisper quiet. My pressure never goes above 14 though. RE: Is it normal for Resmed 10 blowing noise to be very noticable at high pressure >13 - snortle - 08-29-2024 Well, mine's definitely not whisper quiet, and it seems the noise of the machine travels up through the hose, making my mask very noisy. I think something's up.. RE: Is it normal for Resmed 10 blowing noise to be very noticable at high pressure >13 - Big Guy - 08-29-2024 My 10 AutoSet is dead silent. A while back though, it was making a howling noise at theĀ end of the machine where the air filter is. I did this and that, and it did stop. I do think it was the mask causing the noise. My machine is set @ 11. I've had it as high as 12 and no noise. All I hear is my own breathing. Even my RT from the DME mentioned my new 11 series has humidifier sealing issues. It's a free check to verify proper seating. |
