Back strap causing itchy scalp - SuzieQsleep - 09-21-2024

I have been using Resmed N30i for a couple of years and it works really well for me, except that off and on I get and itchy scalp on the back of my head where the back strap rests.  Lately it’s really bad and I can’t tolerate it anymore.  I'm not sure if it’s a sensitivity to the material or if it’s because the hair follicles on the back of my head are being pressed on by the strap.  I wash and rinse my headset including the back strap every day.  I have tried putting the strap over my hair and under my hair but the irritation continues either way.  I’m looking for any suggestions that might help my situation.

You need a strap cover Suzie, I use one because that happens to me as well. I believe that this strap cover will work for the N30 (search strap cover on amazon, it's the blue one).
