ResMed Airsense 11 heated hose - buggy285 - 09-27-2024 the heated hose that came with my new Airsense 11 is incredibly stiff and awkward. is that just how its supposed to be or will it get more flexible with time? RE: ResMed Airsense 11 heated hose - StratCat48 - 09-28-2024 I found the heated hose for the Airsense 10 was pretty stiff. I added a 'SleepWeaver Feather Weight Tube' to the end of the AS10 hose and no more stiff hose problem, very flexible. I do have a hose hanger also which keeps the hose overhead.. Other than the degrade in the connection of a heated hose of the 10 vs. 11, I cannot tell the difference. RE: ResMed Airsense 11 heated hose - buggy285 - 09-28-2024 switching from a dreamstation 2 the hose on the resmed is much stiffer RE: ResMed Airsense 11 heated hose - StratCat48 - 09-28-2024 (09-28-2024, 05:21 PM)buggy285 Wrote: switching from a dreamstation 2 the hose on the resmed is much stiffer Yup, my primary machine is the DS2 with the 12mm heated hose which super flexible. Even the Respironics 15mm heated hoses I used with my DS1 were much more flexible than Resmed's. The Airsense 10 I have is my backup/travel machine which I use occasionally just to 'exercise' it and the SleepWeaver Feather Weight Tube extension makes a world of difference in comfort. It's really surprising Resmed doesn't make a hose as flexible as what the DreamStation uses. RE: ResMed Airsense 11 heated hose - Big Guy - 09-28-2024 I never really gave the heated hose on my 10 AutoSet much thought......til now. I have a hose cover on it and I use a hose hanger. I don't have to handle it all that much, thanks to the hose hanger. If you ain't using one, you're missing out. |
