Should Mask Removal Trigger Leak Alarm? - Perchance2Dream - 09-28-2024

I have a ResMed Aircurve ST-A with a leak alarm. My problem is I remove the mask at night when asleep. I activated the leak alarm in the hopes that this would wake me so I could put the mask back on, but the alarm never activates. I figured I would just run the machine wide open and see if the leak alarm would activate. Still no. Is this normal behavior?

I also have a React Luna that seems to exhibit the same behavior. Any ideas?

The leak alarm triggers when the flow rate crosses a threshold. If your pressure is too low, it might not happen. I am not familiar with your instrument. Can you decrease its trigger threshold?
