Airsense 11 ASV pressure adjustments? - JBSLEEPZZZ - 10-08-2024 Can I make the changes to EPAP and PS settings or do I need to have my sleep doc do it? I have the manual and it doesn’t show how to make any pressure changes. I have received good advise on this forum for recommended adjustments and would like to make the changes. I asked my sleep doc (emailed through portal) the other day but they have not answered. Very frustrating to say the least!! RE: Airsense 11 ASV pressure adjustments? - Phaleronic - 10-08-2024 Hi JBS, yes you can make the setting change yourself: https://www.apneaboard.com/resmed-airsense-11-setup-info That is our manual to the clinical settings. What were your suggestions for pressure? RE: Airsense 11 ASV pressure adjustments? - JBSLEEPZZZ - 10-08-2024 Phaleronic, thank you very much!! Another was to go back to standard settings. I am still having 20-26 hypopnea’s per night, a big chunk is clustered 1 hr before I wake up. AHI been between 2-4. I do side sleep so that helps. RE: Airsense 11 ASV pressure adjustments? - SarcasticDave94 - 10-09-2024 A setting of PS 1-5 will not work. Your ResMed ASV needs to have a PS spread of 5 minimum. PS 1-6 or 0-5 the ASV would accept, however low PS of 0 or 1 may be less useful than PS Min 2 or 3. When I used ASV, it was better to have some PS always to maintain the pressure differential PS affords. Also these are all low settings, probably too low. EPAP 4-5 is child settings. All settings probably need to increase, using OSCAR charts to guide the edits. RE: Airsense 11 ASV pressure adjustments? - JBSLEEPZZZ - 10-09-2024 Good morning Dave, thank you for responding. Sorry, the PS was a typo, it is set at 1-6. I attached last nights Oscar reports. Please let me know your thoughts. Thank you very much!!! RE: Airsense 11 ASV pressure adjustments? - SarcasticDave94 - 10-09-2024 OK, would you consider this OSCAR chart typical? I'm meaning the level of Hypopnea present. If you want to address them, move the EPAP range, trying Min 6 and Max 10. It may be edited up or down depending on results and your feel. RE: Airsense 11 ASV pressure adjustments? - JBSLEEPZZZ - 10-09-2024 Yes very typical results. AHI ranges between 2-4. 99% are h’s. I will try to adjust my settings. Thank you for your feedback. RE: Airsense 11 ASV pressure adjustments? - SarcasticDave94 - 10-09-2024 This setting edit result should become noticable within one night.
