How to clean the Quattro fx? - Lukie - 11-28-2013

The designer of this mask ought to have to clean it every day. I have watched every video and read every manual and still can't even begin to take it apart to clean it.
I can't even get the nozzle thingy off the mask. The Quattro air was a design improvement but too leaky.
Can any one who uses Quattro FX help me?

Yeah, it's a pain, and every time I remove the hose connector I'm sure I'm going to break the mask.

Still, that hasn't happened yet, and I'm not sure you really need to remove it every time you clean the mask. Just take valve out of it and clean that.

The other part that's a problem is the oxygen plug on the mask bottom. I've lost track of how many times I've almost lost that, so I bought a spare.

Other than that, it's still a pain to clean.

I have the Quattro air but I seem to have less leaking with the fx and my AHI seems better too. I still haven't found the right mask. It's like looking for the right man.
LOL!
