Resmed Airsense 10 Error 006 - lanecito - 11-03-2024 I was given an almost unused Resmed 10 which is a spare for my Resmed 10 of 3 year's use. When I checked it yesterday I got "Error 006." Since I live in the Republic of Panama with high heat and humidity, I wonder if the control card has become contaminated with mold as happens with cameras and lenses here. In any event, it looks like I will have to ship my machine to the states for repair. Can anyone offer recommendations or insights? Thanks RE: Resmed Airsense 10 Error 006 - Rickyricardo - 11-03-2024 If a 3 year old ResMed 10 is working fine despite having had more exposure to the climate, why would another ResMed 10 which is newer, fall victim to mold? I think you'd need a lot of humidity to have mold short circuit a new circuit board. Blower motors are pretty easy to replace if you are at all handy (good Youtube videos) and cost about $100, so maybe DIY it. ResMed says: The following message is displayed on the device: "System fault, refer to user guide, Error 006 Description: Motor stall (software)" AirSense 10, AirStart, AirCurve, Lumis Possible Causes: Faulty motor Faulty main PCB Solution: Replace motor Replace main PCB if the above solution does not work RE: Resmed Airsense 10 Error 006 - PeaceLoveAndPizza - 11-03-2024 Supplier #27 and Supplier #28 both have good reputations for repairs. I have used Supplier #27 and they did a good job for me. As I recall it was a one week turn-around from receiving it, repairing, and shipping back. |
