Time Change Action - ggs5 - 11-04-2024

When using a ResMed AirSense 10 machine, does the time change (fall back) require one to uncheck the box for "DST Time Zone" under edit profile?

Also, should the box be unchecked before uploading data from the SD card to Oscar? I uploaded, then unchecked.

My O2 ring shows the correct time. That is not the case for ResMed data

RE: Time Change Action - Crimson Nape - 11-04-2024

I've found that checking DST in OSCAR will cause reporting problems. I usually set the time change before or after my sleep session that will occur during the change. This will either cause an incorrect starting or stopping time, but that is not important. As far as the Wellue/Viatom oximeters, they use the current program date and time at the time of use. A reporting problem might occur if you stop recording during the night of change and download the data and then resume. This is when the oximeter's time will be updated.

Thank you.

I incorrectly stated that my machine was an AS 10. It is not, it is an AS11.

I changed the time zone in my machine by erasing the data, then changing to GMT-8. I returned the SD card to the holder.

So, the DST check box should be checked or not checked having done the steps just noted?

RE: Time Change Action - Crimson Nape - 11-04-2024

I would not check it. Since OSCAR picks up the CPAP's and computer's date/time, I don't see a need for it. I will be having a discussion with the other OSCAR team members about any ramifications and the possibility of removing it from the Profile section.
