Pimp My CPAP! (Please rate my data) - walshy1009 - 11-07-2024

Hello CPAPers!

I just recently purchased an ez Share SD card for my CPAP machine (AirSense 11 AutoSet) so as to be able to view more detailed data using OSCAR.

I've been using the AS11 for a while now with my average AHI being 2 - 4 (down from an AHI of 32 in my sleep study), in conjunction with the AirTouch F20. Given that I do toss and turn in my sleep, as well as sleep with my mouth open and on occasion dribble, I am aware the F20 may not be the best choice. However, it is the mask I was most satisfied with using after trialing several different ResMed masks.

Just wondering if I can get some advice based on the below data of what I can do better?

EDIT: Forgot to mention that I do not use the humidifier built into the AS11 as I prefer the dry cold feel (weird I know).

Cheers!

The mask is leaking pretty frequent and too high to ignore.

Your start pressure of 4 is too low. Change it to 6 or 7. Then edit EPR.

EPR 1 is set to Ramp only and will not function until events push your min pressure to 5. Make this full time.

Ramp, starting at 4 as you are Ramp isn't needed. It is robbing you of therapy time. Even when you change min pressure, try to do without Ramp.

Cheers Dave!

I actually turned off ramp a few nights back but it doesn’t seem to have reflected in OSCAR yet.

Have gone ahead and changed the minimum to 6 and EPR to full time so we’ll see what happens!

Mask leaking is definitely an issue but it is the most comfortable mask for me so am hoping I can change my sleeping habits before resorting to other solutions.
