G'Day - Jackofjr - 11-09-2024

[attachment=71739]G'day I haven't been in for a while but have been lurking around reading some of the posts

I have a couple off new Solo mask and wondered if someone could have a look at my latest Oscar chart and comment how it looks and suggest any changes I could possibly try if needed  as I'm still a bit unsure what I'm look at . I hope I have done this correctly

Many thanks Regards Jacko .

I realize this was posted yesterday, and no replies yet. I think that is because your chart shows that using fixed pressure of 7.8 and no EPR, your results look pretty good. The 95% flow limit is zero, events are low, and respiration is normal. There is nothing that comes to mind you should change based on this chart. How are you feeling about your therapy and sleep?

Thanks Sleeprider for your reply, I wondered why I had no response , I thought ok no one is interested , why would my cpap settings matter , I have been on cpap for years but never had much to do with sleep doctors , I had a sleep study years ago but was never given a pressure , just told to go get a cpap . Anyway thanks again for your interest  , regards Jacko.

Jackofjr, much of CPAP titration and comfort involves some trial and error. Your question is valid, but with fixed pressure and no EPR you don't get any feedback on whether alternative pressure or pressure support (exhale pressure relief) might be useful to improve your sleep. If you want to try an experiment to see whether you might benefit from changes, try setting the machine to Autoset mode and use a pressure range of 8.0 to 10.0 with EPR at 2 and see how it feels. Worst case, you don't like it and go back to previous settings. On the other hand, lower flow limits from the EPR might change your sleep for the better.

Thanks Sleeprider sorry I didn’t reply sooner , I have tried a couple of different masks over the last few days , I have in the past used apap but have never tried epr .
