AirCurve 11 vs AirSense 11? - UKFan643 - 11-11-2024 I've been using the AirCurve 10 for about 6 years now. It's just what I was given when I was first diagnosed. I've been relatively satisfied with it, though I never really knew what was different about it than a AirSense. I'm looking at replacing this machine with something new. I've been looking at the AirSense 11, which I see has exhalation support, and I'm wondering if that's all I really need? I'm not sure what the difference is between that and the features of the AirCurve. RE: AirCurve 11 vs AirSense 11? - Crimson Nape - 11-11-2024 If your pressures listed in your profile are correct, then the AirSense isn't going to provide that. - Red RE: AirCurve 11 vs AirSense 11? - UKFan643 - 11-11-2024 Aah, ok. That answers that, then! Thanks! RE: AirCurve 11 vs AirSense 11? - sllama - 11-12-2024 Hello, In general, AirCurve models are BiPAP machines (which can be set to CPAP mode) and they are typically used in sleep studies to determine if the patient needs CPAP or switches to BiPAP. However, AirSense models are CPAP machines. |
