Question about breathing syncronization - leono85 - 11-13-2024 Hello, I am using the Resmed AirCurve 10. Min EPAP8, Max IPAP 11.40, ps 2, cycle low, and trigger high. I am getting events during the night, usually AHI goes from 0.6 to 3 (some night I get 0,8 some others 2 or 3), depending on the night. Always, regardless the low AHI, I am waking up not rested and tired. If I sleep without the machine I wake up a bit better. Lately, I found that I have events that are not OA nor CA, like the one below. [attachment=71858] I thought it might be that my breathing was not synchronized with the machine. I have been trying different cycle and trigger options as the pressure does not seem to be an issue in these specific situations. I am also attaching the last 3 nights. Any clue or idea, or if you want me to zoom in somewhere, please let me know. All comments/feedback/insights are very welcome. RE: Question about breathing syncronization - G. Szabo - 11-13-2024 Your PS+EPAP is lower than your median pressure. I suggest increasing the PS to 3 cm. It will help you with the OAs and reduced FLs. RE: Question about breathing syncronization - SarcasticDave94 - 11-13-2024 Your Ti Min seems a bit long at 1 second. It might force an extended inhale slightly. I have been checking my past data, and even with PS 3 or 4, always min EPAP + ps is lower than the pressure median, is it normal? Thanks, I will reduce it a bit, it was already more or less fine for me in 1 (given my past history and statistics). |
