Oscar 1.6.0-beta - foxfire - 11-14-2024 I opened Oscar after not using it for a couple of months and was offered to upgrade to 1.60-beta. I downloaded and installed it and now it cannot display data more recent than March of 2020 even though in the Profile window it says that data was last imported today. Any ideas how to fix this. [attachment=71875][attachment=71876] RE: Oscar 1.6.0-beta - Crimson Nape - 11-14-2024 It seems that you somehow turned on this option in your OSCAR configuration file. This is reserved for beta testers only. To stop this from occurring in the future, go to the regular OSCAR 1.5.3 version, and go to Preferences > General > Check for Updates, and deselect the option "I want to be notified of test versions. (Advanced users only please.)". You can safely delete this Beta version from your computer. The beta version creates its own data directory and does not interfere with the normal released version or its data directory. Depending on your O/S, the beta version will appear as either OSCAR-test or OSCAR(test). - Red |
