Please Edit Your User Profile to Include Your Location - Cutter - 03-21-2012
Please Edit Your User Profile to Include Your Location. As the official Apnea Board Greeter I see almost every new member's profile. Very few people put their location down on their profile. Your location may affect an answer to a question that you post. Besides, I'm curious as to where everyone lives. I know that not every member lives in the US. It would be interesting to me to know what country you live in. If you live in the US, I'd be interested to know what State you live in. I don't want anyone's address or even the city you live in, unless you think you live in a particularly interesting city (like Paris or Istanbul). So do me a favor and click on "User CP" and when the User Control Panel opens, click on Edit Profile, then add your location. You'll be doing me a favor. Thanks!

Ummm, some of us would like to know city in state....states are big places, and could be nice to see if you're not alone in some backward spot in the state.
IE: Doc wants to refer me to a specialist at KUMC, but I'm not allowed drive and there's no greyhound or train or (direct) air service to there....so he's waiting for me to figure out how I'm going to get there....

You have a good point there. However, I do have some concern for a person's privacy.

You are rather rare. I might also point out that your English is quite good for a Scott. Have you noticed the accent of those members from down under?

Thanks Cutter... good reminder. For most people listing the country isn't a big privacy deal, or even the state. I'm a big privacy nut and I put my country and state in there... but most folks know I live in northwest Indiana.
Now, for the one or two members here that are in the Witness Protection Program, well... I guess we can allow you to leave your location blank.

if you haven't already. speak to your insurance about this. they may pay mileage over a certain distance and they may pay your non-medical attendant to drive you there. it probably depends on the medical neccessity angle of it. it sure don't hurt to ask.

Sorry can't do it. My wife and I live full time in a motor home and travel all over the country following the sun. Right now we are in AZ but will head north pretty soon as it gets hotter here than we like.

Maybe you could put "Planet Earth" as your location. It sounds like fun to be traveling around in a motor home.
