Peculiar/weird Email from 'Philips'(?)_ - StratCat48 - 12-05-2024 Found this email in my spam folder this morning requesting information on my 'device'. The email did not use my name, but just 'Hello'. Mentioned an attached spreadsheet, but none there. I did have a recalled DS1 which was replaced by a DS2 I'm currently using. My current DS2 is on file with my DME who could provide this information to Philips and as well the serial number is registered on the DreamMapper application. Seems like a 'phishing' email and wondering if anyone else got one? Any chance there was a security breach of data on this forum or the other where emails might have been harvested? I'll likely ignore this email. RE: Peculiar/weird Email from 'Philips'(?)_ - Deborah K. - 12-06-2024 It's Spam. That is nothing like the emails really sent by Philips. RE: Peculiar/weird Email from 'Philips'(?)_ - Sleeprider - 12-06-2024 I'm not aware of Philips ever contacting a patient directly by email except to send general information about their products or recalls. Nearly all communications are through the DME. |
