This post is an error

RE: Oscar 1.6.0 problem - untoutseul05 - 12-14-2024

The checksum (sha256) is supposed to be :

Code:
1d250674ecd891b3dc22f60bfe879f6971caa3acdf71d73542f90145abf29f3b  OSCAR-1.6.0-Win32.exe
148e6c2de32ef51b11a53739b70c8ed5026c9d68ce137da4accc8ec213b05629  OSCAR-1.6.0-Win64.exe

yours is
Checksum = 002d9b39cc749ad5704da1f7370ea794
It seems to be other than sha256.

Have you download it from this page ? How do you checked it ?

I have no Windows PC. Google says with powershell, you can do :

Code:
certutil -hashfile "OSCAR-1.6.0-WinNN.exe" SHA256

avec NN = 32 ou 64

RE: Oscar 1.6.0 problem - DanEm - 12-14-2024

Check sums for file downloaded:

MD5: 002d9b39cc749ad5704da1f7370ea794
SHA1: 3cf8f0a8b5b4a67cf249a11f824b776f7d8ac515
SHA256: 148e6c2de32ef51b11a53739b70c8ed5026c9d68ce137da4accc8ec213b05629
SHA512: 6444fd143aeff81e7680db7cbe373145cff0f9e1991f04140e9914ab31ad5984391e34427cf7dae8fd5426a2e32a5c329ed0ebe723a31c204db510c70d9332fa

Check sum for file is same as the one posted on: " https://www.apneaboard.com/OSCAR/1.6.0/OSCAR-1.6.0-checksums.txt "

What's next ????

RE: Oscar 1.6.0 problem - Crimson Nape - 12-15-2024

It is your security settings of your O/S. Here are the instructions to allow it.
ALLOW SOFTWARE INSTALLATION FROM ANY SOURCE ON WINDOWS 10/11
  •  Open the Start menu, and click Settings.
  •  Click Apps on the left side, then click Advanced app settings.
  •  You should see a "Choose where to get apps" option. Collapse its drop-down menu, and select Anywhere.

Crimson Nape :-)

My settings are allredy like your instructions.

Part of Oscar is installed because when I click to start the app, I get a window.
Some controls are working but I cannot get the views (daily etc.)

I have removed Oscar, cleaned the space and reinstalled it.
Still not working ????

What happens when you either press F5 or you select View > Daily Screen?
