Might this be treatment CA's hanging on - super7pilot - 12-15-2024 I've finally been getting used to my treatment and have been logging a lot more hours on the mask. Def less tired as of late. But as we can see from the posted charts from the last three nights. My CA's are hanging on (albeit at a low overall AHI) So I'm not too fussed about them. But wondering if they might be treatment emergent hanging on. PS, I was on the mask so long last night that my water tank ran dry. I could certainly feel the nose irritation from running dry. RE: Might this be treatment CA's hanging on - ChadBSr - 12-15-2024 You could try reducing max pressure and/or EPR. If this is TECSA you will see CSA reduce but may get more OSA. It may just be you were awake at these times. Hard to tell without a zoomed in view. Even if you were awake TECSA should show a periodic breathing pattern after the centrals. RE: Might this be treatment CA's hanging on - super7pilot - 12-15-2024 Here is the worst of them from last night. Had a bunch in a row. [attachment=73002] RE: Might this be treatment CA's hanging on - SarcasticDave94 - 12-15-2024 They might be, but they're scored at 0.63 C-AHI. No action suggested on pressures. RE: Might this be treatment CA's hanging on - ChadBSr - 12-15-2024 Did you have any CA before starting therapy? RE: Might this be treatment CA's hanging on - super7pilot - 12-15-2024 No centrals on labs. I know i had treatment centrals and they have dropped. But was just wondering if these might be the last of the tecsa’s holding on. Just more curious than worried. RE: Might this be treatment CA's hanging on - ChadBSr - 12-15-2024 My guess would be yes, but as Dave said its pretty low and you said you are feeling less tired. I have TECSA which I'm addressing with EERS, but some of my events flagged as centrals are just wake/sleep transition junk I'm not worried about. I'm using EERS because I'm still fatigued, tidal volume was low, couldn't tolerate EPR or any pressure changes, and lots of periodic breathing patterns even when numbers were good. Once AHI is down to a decent number how you feel matters more than anything. RE: Might this be treatment CA's hanging on - Jay51 - 12-15-2024 If a CA cluster like yours appears at the very beginning of the chart, or at the end, there is a higher probability that it is "sleep wake junk". Those are the times when a person is either transitioning from awake to asleep or from asleep to awake. Or SWJ could occur if you wake up during the night sometime and have trouble falling back to sleep. |
