Resmed 10 or 11 Auto CPAP - Agape Light - 12-20-2024 I am considering getting a Resmed AirSense Auto CPAP. My first CPAP machine had a humidifier that made a lot of mist but did not make the air feel hot. My current DreamStation caused the air to feel hot if I turned the heat on at all, so I have just used it with the water and no heat. I would like to know if anyone else likes cool air and how do you like the humidifier on the AirSense 10 or 11. RE: Resmed 10 or 11 Auto CPAP - Deborah K. - 12-21-2024 My husband and I both originally had Dreamstations but switched to ResMeds and could not believe how much better we slept with the new machines! If you do get a ResMed I suggest you get the 10. These have an excellent track record. The 11s have smaller motors and more complaints. RE: Resmed 10 or 11 Auto CPAP - Agape Light - 12-21-2024 Thank you for your advice. Do you find the humidifier makes the air warm or does it make a lot of humidity but stay cool? RE: Resmed 10 or 11 Auto CPAP - G. Szabo - 12-21-2024 You should use the heated hose along with the humidifier, which allows you to control the air temperature. If you do not use this option, the air coming out from the humidifier can be a bit warmer than you like. In this case, you can tune down the humidifier setting. |
