behind-the-ear cpap mask - lexmz31 - 12-26-2024

HELP! Just tried my 6th mask with no success. SEVERE clau  strophobia. Has anyone tried a behind the ear CPAP mask? Pros/cons? Other recommendations? TIA.

I have not tried it yet, but I am skeptical. My ears were quite irritated when I needed to wear a COVID mask, similarly hanging on the ears, for a few hours. Considering that you have much stronger pulling forces with a CPAP mask, especially at higher pressure, I do not believe that this will be a viable alternative.

To me, my cpap is life saving equipment that i must use. I don't care for the full face mask but i must use it. If you have serious claustraphobia issues, You need to get that dealt with by a doctor first.

Bleep masks are as minimalistic as you can get. If you have not tried them they are worth a go.
