AirCurve11 shuts off when it doesn't like my mask fit - David49 - 12-28-2024
My new ResMed AirCurve11 keeps shutting itself off, and telling me to connect my hose, when it doesn't like my mask fit. Is there a way to disable this function? I have been using CPAP/BiPap for over 25 years and this is the most annoying feature I've found on any machine I've had. How am I supposed to sleep if I have to keep turning my machine back on?

Check to see if you have the Smart Stop feature enabled. If enabled, and the machine detects large leaks or thinks there is no breath, it will shut off. You may wish to disable this feature.
Although, if your mask isn't fitting properly, or you are encountering large leaks, you'll need to address this.
