Viewing Oximeter Data - marioguttman - 12-29-2024
I hate to ask a really dumb question, but I have been able to import my Checkme O2 Max data into OSCAR but I can't see the data. How do I see oximeter data in OSCAR?

Does any oximetry data appear in the Daily Screen - Details - Statistics, on the left side? Additionally, please post a complete Wellue/Viatom data file name for verification. You can also check the active graphs in the lower right of the Daily screen. If this appears normal, or they are not listed, view your Preferences > Waveforms to make sure the Oximetry listings are checked. Since you did not provide your O/S, the Preferences can be found under the File tab in Windows and Linux and the OSCAR tab for a Mac.
Please report back on your findings.

Thanks for getting back to me. My file is named "Checkme O2 Max_20241229222455.csv". It appears to import correctly but nothing happens. I don't see any "oximetry" references anywhere on the daily screen. Am I correct in assuming that some additional data items and graphs will appear automatically if the import was successful?
I checked the Preferences > Waveforms (Windows 11). The four oximetry boxes were checked but the overview boxes were not. I checked them, saved, restarted, and redid the import. No change in the results.
In my previous efforts I thought there might be a problem with the dates so I synced the date in my Wellue PC program and did another test. The dates now look like "10:24:55PM Dec 29, 2024" starting last night and rolling over to "AM Dec 30" at midnight. I am using the December 29 CPAP data in OSCAR which also rolls over to Dec 30 at midnight.
Should I upload the relevant files?

The problem is you are trying to import a CSV file and not the binary file. The binary file will appear as 20241229222455.dat or 20241229222455. This filename may have a model prefix. I'm uncertain as to the Checkme's prefix naming convention.

I'm confused by your answer. I specifically purchased the Wellue Checkme O2 Max because I saw a lot of discussion on this forum that indicated that people were importing its data successfully.
I've connected the device to the "O2 Insight Pro" software provided by manufacturer on my PC. I can view the data there correctly but it only offers "Save as PDF" or "Export as CSV" options. How can I export the data as a binary file?

More on this, in case anyone else is struggling with the same issue.
I linked the Checkme O2 Max with an app on my iPhone called "ViHealth". It gathers the data via bluetooth. From there I used the "Share Blood Oxygen records" option (which includes PDF, CSV, and binary options) to mail myself a binary file. It had a name without an extension like "20241229222455". I was able to import this file using the "Data">"Import Viatom/Wellue data" menu selection.
It seems to work for just the O2 data.
Kudos to Crimson Nape for steering me in the right direction.

A little more information for future reference. From the directions at https://www.apneaboard.com/wiki/index.php/Wellue_Viatom_File_Import I figured out that I can use the PC program. After it does its import it stores a binary file in the folder:

C:\Users\YourUserNameHere\AppData\Local\O2 Insight Pro\DATA\SerialNumberI suppose reading the directions might be a good idea next time.
