Help with Oscar (Can't see Daily or Statistics) - Kare - 12-30-2024 I am a new Cpap user since November, I am trying to fine tune my pressure (still feeling tired) but I cannot seem to get Oscar to work. I am using a new Chromebook Lenovo and I have installed using Arm64 deb 12 , I have enabled Linux. Oscar did install fine but the daily and statistics are still grayed out. I am using a USB to import and it is importing. I have seen a summary once but I cannot even find that again. I do get a pop up that says select root folder. I don't know what that means and I am not technically inclined on computers. Any help would be appreciated! I have a Resmed 11. RE: Help with Oscar (Can't see Daily or Statistics) - Crimson Nape - 12-30-2024 Hi Kare! - Did you create a user profile? - Red RE: Help with Oscar (Can't see Daily or Statistics) - Kare - 12-30-2024 Yes! I sure did. It is highlighted in green when I am on Oscar. RE: Help with Oscar (Can't see Daily or Statistics) - Crimson Nape - 12-30-2024 Open OSCAR and go to Help >About OSCAR. Click on the "Show data folder", displayed on the right side of the popup window. Make sure that this path matches where your OSCAR_Data folder is located on your PC. This will probably produce an error, but will show the path in the URL bar at the top. It should be something like, "/home/Your User Name/Documents/OSCAR_Data". The actual default is "My Files > Linux Files > Documents > OSCAR_Data". These actually match. The ChromeOS has a problem with using a Linux subsystem path for displaying this. - Red RE: Help with Oscar (Can't see Daily or Statistics) - untoutseul05 - 12-30-2024 The only case I have seen is what the profile was not selected correctly. Can you try to select the profile and then open profile ? What is your version of OSCAR ? RE: Help with Oscar (Can't see Daily or Statistics) - Kare - 12-30-2024 I did exactly what you said to do and I see exactly what you said I should see, not sure what to do next. Thank you for helping. RE: Help with Oscar (Can't see Daily or Statistics) - Kare - 12-30-2024 Nothing happens when I select my profile and open profile. Oscar 1.6 RE: Help with Oscar (Can't see Daily or Statistics) - Crimson Nape - 12-30-2024 I know some Lenovo Chromebooks have Arm processors, but the one I received for Christmas has an Intel (AMD) processor. Have you verified yours is an Arm? Also, try changing the Graphics engine (File > Preferences > General > Graphics Engine). - Red RE: Help with Oscar (Can't see Daily or Statistics) - Kare - 12-31-2024 Yes, I have and I just double checked again. I have a Lenovo Idea Pad 3 and it is MediaTek Kompanio 500 series. I will check the Graphics Engine when I get off work and have my laptop. I'm really hoping to get this sorted so I can see what is going on while I'm sleeping and make proper adjustments. I don't feel I'm getting much help elsewhere. Thanks again! RE: Help with Oscar (Can't see Daily or Statistics) - TandooriNights - 01-03-2025 I am facing the same issue on my Chromebook after upgrade to version 1.6.0. After loading the profile with my existing data (about 6 months of data,) I click View -> View Daily. And nothing happens. It just shows my profile. But if I resize the OSCAR window, the daily view appears. After this it gets stuck again until I resize the window again. Alternatively, I can click maximize window and back to normal window to see the change. Any window operation. Also, the cursor size was very large until I enabled "Large mouse cursor" and reduced the size to default. "In the debug log, I see this error when I click a top level menu like File or View: 415488: Warning: Ignoring unexpected wl_surface.enter received for output with id: 7 screen name: "Screen5" screen model: "unknown" This is most likely a bug in the compositor." Earlier versions of OSCAR worked fine. I reinstalled Linux after removing it on my Chromebook to no avail. I am running Debian 12, the latest. The CPU is Intel based. I tried the Graphics option change to "Software" and that did not help. Same behavior. |
