2 years of good sleep, now having issues - hydra - 12-31-2024

I've been using CPAP at home and on the road (resmeds) for 2 years now.  Up until now, my sleep has been good.  For the past 3 weeks, however, it seems that I've regressed back to where I was before I began CPAP.
I haven't had major health issues and I'm VERY fit, so I'm not sure what's going on.  I'm getting a new SD card reader to upload my data.. but the online data from nightly CPAP use shows only .6 AHI.

Any thoughts about what could be happening?  Therapy induced CSA?  Something else?

A guess would be something has changed negatively. We'll have to wait until the charts help tell the story.

How common is therapy induced CSA?

If you were having CAs, they would be showing up as part of your AHI. So as Dave says, we can try to help once you are able to post a chart or two.

Treatment emergent Central Apnea is fairly common for newer CPAP users. The addition of the bit of extra air pressure the CPAP introduces can flush extra CO2. This lowered CO2 reduces the drive to take a breath, hence a breath pause translates to a CA on the CPAP data.

After two years of therapy, your CAs are not therapy-induced. Once you post a chart Dave will be able to assess what is going on.

Here is the data from last night.  Woke at 330 and couldn't get back to sleep. Tried to nap today to no avail. I don't have the week before because I was traveling and using my Resmed Airmini. I see the gap in data.. not sure why. I don't remember not using it at that time.

I would consider increasing Min pressure to 7, and edit EPR to 3 full time. There were zero CA in this chart. Comfort is the main target.

Thanks! I'll give it a try.  Just adjusted to 7
FWIW, my EPR was already at EPR 3 full time.

Can such small changes in the settings make a big difference?  I have never adjusted them before.

It's possible there may be positive changes, especially with min 6 hindering EPR 3 slightly until events cause pressures to increase.
