Random increases in Central Apnea - jefferyscott0 - 01-02-2025

I've been using a Resmed Airsense 11 with an Airfit F20  mask and have maintained an AHI below my target of 5 most of the time.  Recently I've had a much higher AHI score, and OSCAR indicates a high number of CA events.  (I realize these may or may not be true central apneas.)   A recent sleep study did show some central apnea.   These high AHI readings seem to occur randomly but have been frequent recently.

I'm wondering what I might be doing that would randomly increase central apnea, if that's what it is.  Has anyone noticed fluctuations in their CA score that they have managed to pin down to a cause that they could then correct?

If you post an OSCAR chart either I or someone else should be able to help you.

I've attached an OSCAR statistics report and an OSCAR Overview report.  Do these help?

No, you really need to post your OSCAR chart.  Your profile shows that you have it downloaded, there is information about OSCAR below on this page or you can search above on the black ribbon for more info. You do need an SD disk.

OSCAR should be attached to the post. See the info in the link. As is now, this method means members have to download. I'd prefer not to do a download for every chart I look at.

You have summary reports only, we'll also need a daily OSCAR chart.

Thanks for the information on how to post attached files correctly, and which ones to post.  I'll do that correctly next time.  For now, my AHI numbers are back down where they belong.  It seems that my AHI and CA numbers spiked at the same time as a gout flareup.  Whether there's a connection I have no idea.  I'm going to continue monitoring my numbers to see if I can find a pattern, or correlation to other health issues.  Thanks to those who responded with help and suggestions.
