Positional Hypopneas ? - Vike3 - 01-04-2025 I sleep on an incline pillow due to GERD. I do have a cervical collar. Can anyone tell if these are positional hypopneas or do I need to increase the pressure or EPR? Currently at 8-12 with EPR set to 2. The centrals are primarily sleep wake junk, less concerned with those. My AHI is around .6 for the last month. I will get a few days of .3 or less then I get some like last night over 1.0 so I can't seem to keep it consistent. I did gain some weight too which probably doesn't help. Or are these central hypopneas in which case lowering the pressure might be the way to go ? RE: Positional Hypopneas ? - SarcasticDave94 - 01-04-2025 This is low level Positional Apnea, however I would not act on this at this level. AHI 1.2 is in the excellent category. Go by feel more than AHI. The edit I suggest is not for any Positional Apnea patterns, neither AHI. It is to gain more therapy consistency and hours. Turn the Ramp off. All 8 session starts in this chart has Ramp time, seen in that diagonal pressure beginning each session start and restart, up to about 20 minutes worth of no therapy. RE: Positional Hypopneas ? - Vike3 - 01-05-2025 Thanks. I lowered the ramp to 5 minutes. It's only set to 1 below the minimum. Last night I lowered myself down a bit on the incline pillow and while on my side zero apneas for 6 hours. Then I tried to do some back sleeping and the apneas occured but oddly they are central vs obstructive. I had a high leak rate though and highest flow limit in a while. I average .06 so gotta fix that part. |
