ResMed Equipment Quality - Jhardin - 01-18-2025 I’ve used CPAP for 20+ years and for the last 2 years I have experienced a degradation in the reliability and functionality of my equipment, ResMed/Esson. Machine failure, tubing connect issues, headgear strap issues, mask/cushion problems. It appears to be related to equipment design changes that aren’t working as they should. I’m just starting my investigation and trying to remain calm but…a Friday night failure with no recourse until Monday is aggravating. Anyone else have this problem? RE: ResMed Equipment Quality - cexer - 01-18-2025 i'm happy with the quality, but i don't know old stuff. how did the design change ? could you describe the problem in more detail ? what machine failure ? could you thinker a little or do you have to preserve the equipment as is ? snap fasteners (for the failing velcro), knitting (adapting size), velcro tape (getting stuff away from the ears if necessary), rubber bands (hose connections, untested).. ..you don't have to wait till monday, if you just adapt stuff to your needs, right ? |
