Check up - Luciano Camporese - 01-20-2025 Hello folks, Currently having a Res Med aircurve 10 machine, I still have many events (around 5 / h) especially in REM phasis. I do not sleep very well because in the morning I am confused and not concentrated. In the afternoon I feel exhausted. I ll soon do a sleep -endoscopy I may have the basis of the tongue quite large which blocks the air , especially during REM phase. I do around 17 micro arousals / h. I am young and quiet worried. What should I do ? Is the surgery dangerous ? what is it exactly ? I am currently doing some logopedic exercices everyday. I would like to wake up one day totally fresh and productive like a normal person. RE: Check up - SarcasticDave94 - 01-20-2025 Welcome to Apnea Board, Members here will be glad to help. Since you use OSCAR charts, if you can post a detailed daily chart with Events, Flow Rate, Mask Pressure, Leaks using F12 screenshot for Windows or fn F12 on Mac. Make sure the left panel is intact with calendar closed. The ResMed ASV machine is pretty easy to tune up. Once thing I'm seeing now is possible Positional Apnea patterns where you are tucking your chin and kinking off the airway. Read up on that if you would fun my signature link. How many Central Apnea were you dealing with before? This ASV is specifically used to treat those CA. RE: Check up - Deborah K. - 01-20-2025 I see that you have Oscar. If you post an Oscar chart many here will be able to help you. RE: Check up - Luciano Camporese - 01-20-2025 Hello folk, Thank you a lot for your anwser. I actually do not have any Oscar.
