RE: Sleepy Head Data Help - robysue - 03-23-2014 Quote:This says to me I have leaks and 95% of the time I am at a pressure of 17?Not quite: 1) Your pressure is AT or BELOW 17 cm for 95% of the time. And it is AT or ABOVE 17 cm for 5% of the time. Your pressure is also AT or BELOW 12 cm for 50% of the time. 2) Your unintentional leaks (the bad kind) are AT or BELOW 4 L/min for 95% of the time. Your unintentional leaks are AT or ABOVE 4 L/min for 5 % of the time. That's actually quite acceptable in terms of leaks. You don't need to worry about leaks unless they're waking you up. RE: Sleepy Head Data Help - readyforsleep - 03-23-2014 Thanks. Why am I tired? RE: Sleepy Head Data Help - robysue - 03-23-2014 (03-23-2014, 02:01 PM)readyforsleep Wrote: Thanks. Why am I tired? How long have you been PAPing???? Sometimes it just takes a bit of time for people to start feeling better: It can take a few weeks to a few months for the body to start to heal from the damage the OSA caused. Also: How long do you sleep each night with the PAP? And do you spend any time at all sleeping without the PAP? And then there's this: (03-23-2014, 10:18 AM)readyforsleep Wrote: Date Sleep Wake HoursOn this particular day, the residual (treated) AHI is still a bit on the high side. The target is for the AHI to be less than 5 on a consistent basis. If your AHI is usually this high or higher, that too could explain why you still feel tired. And most of the events are OAs. Again, if this night is a typical night, that may indicate that your min pressure setting is not high enough for the machine to gracefully increase the pressure in time to prevent most of your obstructive events. RE: Sleepy Head Data Help - readyforsleep - 03-24-2014 You are right - I am making up for past sleep problems. I have been on CPAP since 2010,( keep it on all night - no problem there - but recently have been having problems.( big time foggy, tired etc) I could not get any data from my machine - so I have been lost for awhile. I was finally able to borrow a machine with data capabilities on March 21st. They upped my pressure range and my AHI has slowly been improving - 1st night 8, second 5, last night 2.5. This machine is an auto cpap so the increased pressure ( I have a fixed cpap set at 8 ramp to-12) has been great. I love the power I now have with data!!! Wish there was a way to convert my machine to auto. I am going to try formatting another sd card and see if that gets me the data I need for Sleephead. Thanks for all your help. |
