Leak rate data pattern - PaytonA - 05-08-2014

I have noticed that on my better nights for leak rate the data has a repeating pattern. It starts out around 10-15 l/min for several hours and then gradually reduces to around 0 for the balance of the night. I am not complaining. This is a great improvement over where I have been in the past.

I am curious to know if anyone else has seen this kind of repeating pattern and/or if anyone might have an explanation of what might be happening.

Best Regards,

PaytonA

I have checked for aliens already but maybe it is occultation. On the other hand maybe it is the distilled spirits I use in the humidifier. Keeps all those darn germs in check. Rolleyes

Is your pressure remaining at about the same level throughout the night?

Maybe it just takes that long for the superglue to set up.

I think you,re on something here, its called 'angels share'
The angles takes a share of all whiskies during maturation process, About 2% of the volume is lost in this way each year

I am on constant 20 cm IPAP, 16 cm EPAP.

More likely the epoxy! Superglue is faster than that.

I guess that must be why I am not very angelic. The angels share keeps getting away before I can get to it. Crying-into-tissue

On a serious note, my leaks numbers are opposite to yours, get a bit higher towards the end
Usually I wipe the cushion or change during the night as the cushion gets greasy and start singing ... some call it farting

I would not have been all that curious if my leak pattern was more like yours. It would seem to make a little more sense.

My cushions do not "sing" much anymore but my eyerlids do sometimes!
