TV or TV = tidal volume = the amount of air you take into your lungs in one breath PS = pressure support. This is how much the pressure is increased by when the machine cycles from EPAP (when you are exhaling) to IPAP (when you are inhaling or the machine is attempting to get you to inhale). HTH oops.
