ResScan 5.1 Download - rsmorris22 - 11-10-2014
Hi I am new here and hope I am doing this correctly.
MY PROBLEM:
I downloaded ResScan 5.1 from the Healthcare Worker email link, but when I run ResScan it says "unable to detect device communication library" and won't continue properly. What am I doing wrong?

If your machine is an S9 uses SD card, you don't need to install the drives, there are for older machines uses smart data card
You can uninstall resscan and try again without installing the drives

I don't use that software anymore but did you check this huge thread? You can check just the first few then the last few pages to see if the answer is there. At least until someone comes along with the answer here.

I don't use software, so I'm not much help but hang in there for more suggestions and best of luck to you with your CPAP therapy.

And a related bit of info for someone using software for the first time:
Get into the habit of always flipping the write protect tab on your SD card before reading it from your PC. This is particularly important if you have a Windows 8 PC.
Always look at the display on your ResMed machine when you plug it back in because it will bitch if you forget to unset the write protect tab. I made that mistake once. I always put my reading glasses on to look at it now.

Had to give up on ResScan 5.1, but the 32 bit version on the Sleepyhead software works fine.
