New to board - Sleepyhead chart missing - breathingwell - 03-27-2015

I recently switched from my S8 to a new S10 AutoSet/AutoSense I bought outright. I found this board and it has been very helpful for setting up my new machine. I have been using S10 for 3 weeks and use MyAir - Cute but not much information - and SleepyHead (excellent) beta on my Mac w/Yosemite.

I have read the user manual which took several days to absorb. My main concern is the "Event Chart" with the Event Flags. My Sleepy Head does not display that chart. I have checked in preferences and I see nothing indicating that is a chart you can select or deselect.

Perhaps I missed something in the Users Guide or possibly the beta version doesn't have this chart. Does anyone have an answer as to where is this missing chart?

Welcome to the board.

Are you using version 0.9.8-1? It should say in the border at the top of the window.

Look in the lower right corner on the daily view. There's a check box there for graphs. Make sure "Event flags" is turned on there.

Are you looking at the last day or two of the "Daily" view?

Do you see the flow rate graph?

Scroll to the bottom and make sure that the Event Flags isn't somehow moved to the bottom.

Archangel you had the answer. I had gone down to the lower right corner before I clicked on the Events Graph and it turned to Red/Black I believe. That apparently turns it off. Now it is Green/White and now the graph is on the top of the screen.

I thought it was something simple I was missing. Thank you for that.

I do like the new machine as it is much quieter than my S8 was. I had been found to not have APNEA a few years ago as my numbers were consistently below 5. When I was tested a long time ago I was averaging 60+ apnea's per hour.

I have always had sinus problems and when I lay down to sleep at night they really do act up at various times of the year. When that happens I get so plugged up I have to mouth breathe all night. Very unpleasant. I found the humidifier on my S8 gave me relief from the sinus blockage. So I have continued to use the machine. My family wanted me to get checked again about a year ago. I am now working with a pulmonary specialist. He agrees I don't have the numbers to show I have APNEA, but he said my breathing at night is not ideal. So he is working with me as he has found many who wear bit splints have APNEA and he believes it to be an issue between the central nervous system and the bit splint involving some of the jaw movement.

He suggested I get a S10 if I wanted to get more detailed information on my breathing. That's my story and I can tell you I appreciate what the machine does for me and my wife really appreciates it. My first machine 12 years ago was a CPAP set to a fairly high constant pressure. When the hose would pop off the full face mask at times it would wake her out of a deep sleep due to the noise and the "air blast" as she put it.

We get none of that excitement with the S8 or the S10 AutoSet.Okay
