Does Philips Series 60 show daily AHI? - dozydave - 04-30-2015

I have finished a trial of the Resmed S9 and found it useful to view my daily AHI on the machine, immediately after waking. I know I can use Sleepyhead to view the same info but not till some time after. I am now trying a Philips System One but it only shows the past 7 and 30 day average AHI. I seem to remember reading somewhere that the S1 shows daily AHI but can' find reference either on the machine or the user manual. Can somebody tell me if the S1 has this capability and where to find it?

FWIW- I believe I'm using a Series 60 but can't seem to tell for sure, even after viewing Youtube videos on the difference between Series 50 and 60 and trying to interpret the model number printed under the machine. (My CPAP provider insists it is a Series 60) I've included a photo of the labels on the bottom of the machine

You have a Philips Respironics 60 Series Auto for Canada. It stores months of compliance data, and will hold AHI and efficacy data at least a month. You need to keep the SD card in the slot for wave form data. It records not only AHI with OA and CA, but also RERA, flow limitations, periodic breathing, and pressure pulses, and will also track changes in prescriptions.

Just request the PRS1 60 series Auto manual (model 560). It's the same, but for U.S. sales.

Now I get it. I guess somebody (probably Health Canada which regulates these things) doesn't trust us Canadians to have as much interest or control over our therapy.

Thanks for clarifying that.

Dave

I have the 561CA and it shows the 1 day AHI as well as 7 and 30. Make sure your machine is set up to display AHI in the clinicians setup.

I have the 60 series too ("System One (60 Series) RemStar Pro with C-Flex+ (461CA)" is what SleepyHead shows on the Statistics tab).

I think so long as you can see the AHI menu option you should be able to see the 1 day, 7 day, and 30 day numbers. For a while with my loaner machine the technician accidentally turned off the "Info menu advanced options" and I could not access the AHI option and the leaks option.

do you backup the old data?

Strange...I got into the clinicians setup (thanks to this list) and the and it only lets you decide between AHI on/off and only shows 7 and 30 day reporting.
