Update Chrome OS to the latest Version
== Update Chrome OS to the latest Version ==
On your Chromebook, go to Settings->About Chrome OS and see if there are any updates to apply. (Screenprint) You do this by
# going to the settings page (which is accessed by clicking on the settings symbol [[File:Settings.png|18px]]) (Screenprint) and then
# Click on the legend "About Chrome OS" on the left (Screenprint).
# Click on (Screenprint) the box up towards the top that says "Check for Updates". Click on that, and it will either tell you that you are up to date, (Screenprint) or else start updating your system. If it starts updating, then wait for it to finish, and then follow its instructions to restart.
 
# Turn on your Chromebook.

# Select Settings[[File:Settings.png|18px]]).
# At the bottom of the left panel, select "About Chrome OS". screenprint# Under "Google Chrome OS," you will find which version of the Chrome operating system your Chromebook uses.[[File:How-to-update-your-Chromebook-2.jpg|400px]]# Select "Check for updates". screenprint
# If your Chromebook finds a software update, it will start to download automatically.
# If Update was found, after downloading you will see "Update available<br />
