AHI below 2 for 8+ hours - feel completely disoriented and groggy all day
Hi,

I am a 22 year old male diagnosed with severe obstructive sleep apnea. I started bi-pap therapy in November of 2022 and have been struggling to return to my optimal mental health state. I am active and considered normal for my BMI yet I was still subjected to this condition. I have had trouble getting my AHI into normal range (under 2) for a while, and now that I have reached that threshold and still not feeling any better during the day I don't know what to do. I sleep for 7.5 - 8.5 hours every night and yet I still feel disoriented, unfocused, and have memory recollection issues. I have also had trouble with words and feel dissociated from reality. I can't help but feel that this is directly related to sleep apnea and a continuous sleep deprivation.  I attached my results from the past 2 weeks below. Any guidance would be appreciated.

Welcome to the board. We can only give advice by using data. You need to download Oscar. It is totally free on the top of this site. You will need a SD card in your Cpap while you sleep. Post a nights charts and I’m sure someone will have some suggestions.

So I am using myair currently, will that work? If not can I plug two SD cards into the machine? My sleep doctor uses the myair app to study my apnea.

Here is what my data looks like.

Hi rileygrindle,

Welcome aboard!

I don't see your results? Make sure to use the "New Attachment" and "Add Attachment" at the bottom of a posting dialog window.

Are these OSCAR charts? If so make sure to configure OSCAR as suggested in this link -

If you don't have OSCAR it would be a good idea to download it here - https://www.sleepfiles.com/OSCAR/

@rileygrindle, You wont need two SD cards, your sleep Doc gets your myAir data over the cellular network. If your machine has an SD card you can take it out any time you aren't using the machine and import the data into OSCAR without disrupting your Doctors flow of data.

I'm assuming from your previous post it does have one, so you are good to go once you get OSCAR installed on a computer and get some data recorded. Please read as much as you can on the wiki to familiarize with the software. It is very powerful and will give folks here on this board the kind of data they need to help you.

Good luck!
