Most cases of what you describe have resulted from anxiety resulting from a positional apnea, and can be resolved by calmly realizing you can breathe and reset yourself and the device with a purposeful breath. This will result in an arousal, but the feeling of being choked is due to an adrenaline rush or a panic reaction. Keep in mind that 10 cm-H2O is only 0.14 psi. That cannot stop your breathing or choke you. For perspective, the atmospheric pressure at sea level is 14.696 psi (760 mm Hg).

Big picture:
Okay, I think I can buy one of those collars. Do I need to use it with cpap?
RE: Abdulfakih - Therapy Thread
Yes. It should keep your airway more straight so it does not get twisted and kinked like a garden hose. It prevents the chin from tucking into the chest as well and cutting off your airway completely (most likely the feeling you were describing that Sleeprider commented on earlier).
You can even use it when not using your cpap.
Measure the distance between your chin and chest in inches. Some collars go by small medium, large and extra large though.

Even with a lower pressure my deep sleep today was 20minutes. I wokeup with a headache and feeling "angry".
I dont know whats going on anymore, I just think my body got tired of using the cpap i guess...

RE: Abdulfakih - Therapy Thread
You have a few CA's. The way to best treat this would be to increase the "trigger" setting to very high.
There is a hypopnea (H) clusters (grouped together) as well. The collar should have helped a little bit to prevent this. The way to treat this is to raise your PS max. It is set at only 2.0 so it can easily be raised. You can jump to 3.0 or go slower by 0.2 increment. Then keep increasing PS until the H's are gone.

Your chart shows you have set the antibacterial filter to on. Unless you are using an AB filter in the air supply hose you need to turn that off. It sends a different pressure signal to the blower controller assuming more resistance in the air circuit and may result in improper trigger and cycle.

I reduced it a bit based on our conversation from yesterday.
In terms of soft collar, i found a place to buy it today. Will see if they have stock. And the PS that is very weird, i dont know how or why was it decreased, i remember it being higher, but i did not change that myself

Hi sleep rider. I have a filter that was included with the cpap which is some sort of dust filter or something like that.
RE: Abdulfakih - Therapy Thread
The normal filter that fits into the air intake on the left side of the machine is not an antibacterial filter. Turn off the antibacterial filter setting.
